Learn about Joal Curtis![]() Joal is a licensed marriage and family counselor in Idaho and also has a background in training and education. Joal leads the Courageous Loving program, and provides counseling services at liveFit. He has been involved in helping couples and families for several years through his marriage and family courses. Joal has also worked as a Religious Educator and more recently as a Corporate Trainer and Business Development Manager for Hewlett-Packard Company. Joal is the president of the Keene Curtis Charitable Foundation and was featured in the Idaho Statesman, and the Idaho Business Review, as a Heath Care Hero award nominee. Joal is a graduate and current affiliate faculty member of Idaho State University where he helped develop the ISU Boise campus counseling center and occasionally teaches continuing education workshops. Joal is also involved yearly in other charitable giving projects in Utah and Idaho. Joal has been married to Becky for 20 years and they have six children. Joal has experienced the struggle to overcome personal distress and pain. He also understands the difficult times couples go through and the struggle to stay emotionally connected. Through the years and by applying many of the principles he has learned and taught, he and Becky have managed not only to stay together, but to develop a loving intimacy which acts as a safe haven in their lives.
